Highway Bridge Rating Software

If you are a highway transportation engineer, BRIDG is the software you need for the rating and analysis of highway bridges. This software grew out Washington State Department of Transportation's need to get a good clear handle on their bridge conditions and satisfy Federal requirements. This project started in 1989 and has been in use and growing since then.

WSDOT needed a program that would:

		Pay for itself in savings.
		Rate bridges per AASHTO and WSDOT (LRFR) specifications.
		Use a consistent and controllable data set for additional use in bridge condition and load permit analysis.
		Use only the most modern software architecture and modular techniques for efficient updates and enhancements.
		Be intuitive in its use and have extensive graphics for quick data validation.
		Standardize the inconsistent and non-reproducible rating process.

BRIDG® for Windows® has accomplished all of this and much more!

BRIDG® for Windows® is a joint project between Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and Gordon Erickson and Associates Inc. that has been in use and development since 1989. Thousands of bridges have been analyzed and rated by BRIDG. BRIDG is the standard software used by WSDOT for most bridge ratings, and is used by many counties in the State. It is in use by private consulting firms, Federal agencies, and foreign engineering firms.
